How to Ask · The question guide

Ask it well,
and the cards speak clearlyBetter Questions, Better Readings

Tarot doesn't predict the future or judge right from wrong — it helps you see your own state clearly. Ask a good question, and the depth of the reading changes completely.
Tarot reflects your inner landscape, not fate. The quality of your question shapes the depth of your reading.

Three principles for asking

Three Principles
1

Keep the focus on yourself

FOCUS ON YOURSELF

Tarot can mirror your state, your blind spots, your choices. It can't read someone else's mind — for questions like "What is he thinking?", the answer the cards give is usually your own projection, not their reality.

Tarot reads you, not others.

2

Open-ended, not yes/no

OPEN-ENDED, NOT YES/NO

"Will I succeed?" is a dead end. "In this situation, what is my current state, and what should I watch out for?" is what lets the cards surface something genuinely useful.

Replace yes/no with "what" and "how".

3

Seek insight, not prophecy

INSIGHT, NOT PROPHECY

A good question is "What do I need to see?" rather than "How will it turn out?" The first gives you the power to choose; the second hands your agency over to the cards.

You hold the pen. Tarot holds the mirror.

Out of scope

Out of Scope

Someone else's inner world

"What's he thinking? Does she love me? Is my partner cheating?" — tarot reads you, not another person's psychology.

→ Try: What is my state in this relationship?

Specific timing predictions

"When will I meet someone? What age will I get promoted?" — timelines aren't a language tarot speaks well.

→ Try: What do I need to do about this right now?

Health & financial diagnosis

Tarot isn't a medical or financial tool. For health or money matters, please consult a professional.

→ You can ask: What is my mental state facing this situation?

Channelling, luck-changing, rituals

Tarot is all I do. No spirit contact, no rituals, no selling crystals, no karmic-debt clearing.
I only do tarot. No spirit contact, no ritual, no luck-changing.

Got it? Come and ask.
Ready to ask?

Still not sure how to phrase it? That's fine — just tell me the feeling that has you stuck, and we'll shape a good question together.
